My roles and responsibilities as a lead design engineer at Indshine are:1. Started and Build a design team to provide end to end infrastructure planning and design solutions.2. Standardization of design process to minimize manual intervention.3. Managing operations for field data collection and field team.4. Deliver concept to detailed infrastructure designs for Railways and Highways.5. Railways alignment and route planning.

I did my third year summer internship at Rail India Technical and Economic Services (RITES Ltd, Gurgaon). My task was to analyze and design a 4 lane RCC box girder bridge of 35 meter span.Traditionally Box Girder bridge is designed using Working Stress Method but Limit State Method is more efficient way of designing. Following work was performed during my internship:1. Analysis of a 4 lane box girder bridge for different load combinations of class A, class 70R vehicular loading, pedestrian load and impact load due to vehicular loading as per IS codal provisions using STAAD.Pro.2. Made a generalized Excel program for longitudinal (Flexural, Shear, Torsion) and Transverse design of a box girder bridge using Limit State Method.3. Developed Excel for checking of cracking width, Stresses and deflection under serviceability checks.
