Upon the successful completion of the project, it garnered recognition by advancing to the final rounds of two prestigious undergraduate research competitions in Sri Lanka – the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLAAS) Physical Science Award 2021 and the Institute of Physics Sri Lanka (IPSL) Best Undergraduate Physics Research Project Award 2022.
