About Virginia Lora

I'm a professional linchpin with a background in communications and storytelling, an unshakable interest in community and civic engagement, and stellar project-management and people skills. As a writer, editor and audio producer, I'm passionate about telling true stories, elevating unheard voices, and engaging audiences with empathy and purpose. As a project-manager and coordinator, I lead projects from the seeds of an idea to final product (whether it's a story, an event, or a new initiative), optimizing production workflows and bringing out the best in people. As a self-aware leader, deep listener, and enthusiastic Yes And-er, I facilitate environments conducive to the sharing of ideas and experiences––and get things done. Whether working with nonprofit/community organizations, audio/podcast shops, or news/public media, I seek out projects that center the margins and engage with people and ideas across multiple spectrums. I’m always open to collaborate on mission-driven projects with inspiring and inspired conspirators, ideally something that makes us think and laugh.
