As the Regional Sales Manager for Membean, I help international schools solve their vocabulary and literacy obstacles by introducing them to Membean and then supporting the administration and teaching staff in every step of adoption and implementation of the program. My role is to both generate new leads while offering excellent support and after purchase care to our existing customers. I give in-person as well as online presentations and trainings and I also represent Membean at educational conferences and on content-specific webinars.

As a sales representative and educational consultant, I helped schools determine which resources best match their curriculum needs and then supported them in the implementation of those resources. As a French specialist, I offered specific guidance on the development and improvement of French programs across the UAE and coach teachers on effective teaching practices for learning a foreign language and the employment of print and digital resources in the classroom.

As the French Coordinator I reshaped the curriculum to reflect the dynamic language acquisition that is happening at Repton Dubai, including liaising with the Senior School to ensure a complete and logical progression of language acquisition. I also led the department by scheduling meetings, setting the agendas determining teaching schedules, addressing department goals for attainment and progress, and worked on budgeting and resource acquisition.

As the one of four French teachers at the American International School Abu Dhabi, I was responsible for developing and delivering the curriculum and content for five different levels of French classes, including the IB Diploma Program. I pursued my continued professional growth by attending IB training workshops and online discussion forums.

As an instructional coach in a middle leadership role, I was responsible for the entire French department's curriculum and delivery of instruction, as well as coaching and mentoring other staff members. Along with a team member, I developed from the bottom up the coaching program, including all of its documentation, recored keeping, goal setting, and observation and meeting schedules.

As a Foreign Trainer with Wall Street English, I was responsible for preparing and delivering six different lessons on a daily basis. I also developed and lea my own English Corners every week wherein I was the solely responsible for the topic, needed material, delivery, and audience engagement. I was also been entrusted to teach the VIP students and I took on corporate training opportunities as they presented themselves.

I worked at Lyons Township for four years as one of their four French teachers. I taught levels I - IV and was the current French Club sponsor and the Co-Sponsor of the French Exchange to Marseille, France. I received additional training in aligning curriculum to the Common Core, Differentiated Instructions, Close Reading, and Text-Based Questioning.

I was the sole French teacher at this suburban Dallas school for three years. I taught both regualr and advanced levels. I also did one year of American History because I am double certified. It was a great school to begin my career and I had a wonderful experience there.
