About Diederick Van Merkestijn

As a student, I started coating nuts in 1999. After a few years, I decided to bundle my passion, experience and expertise into a new company, called Virgin Nuts.Virgin Nuts, BRCGS Food Safety AA-level certified, is a producer of caramelised and dry roasted nuts, seeds and cereals as a delicious snack or as an ingredient for many applications, especially for ice cream and chocolate. Thanks to our artisanal production process, all nuts and seeds get a delicious and 100% natural coating. With delicious snack nuts, seeds and granola’s and solutions for the ice cream and chocolate industry, we can truly say that Virgin Nuts rocks the European nut market. And we're proud of that.
