During my 13-week internship at Josh Leslie Endeavours Inc., I worked on a project focused on analysing and applying international industry classification standards. My work was divided into two main phases:Phase I: Learning and Analysis:- Researched six key industry classification systems: ISIC, NAICS, NIC, NACE, ANZSIC, and HSIC.- Analysed these standards to understand their structure, applications, and relevance to global commerce.- Recommended the best classification system for the company’s software platform, aligned with business goals and global needs.Phase II: Application and Implementation:- Applied ISIC and NAICS within the software platform, conducting tests and summarising results.- Collaborated with global business owners and senior leaders to gather insights on business activities and UI/UX feedback.- Contributed to developing a user-friendly interface for business categorisation, enhancing the software's global connectivity.Key Achievements:- Accurately categorised complex business rosters using multiple classification systems.- Provided actionable insights that influenced the final decision on the software’s classification framework.- Developed and tested a hybrid classification system balancing global applicability with regional specificity.

At Kalyan Jewellers, my tenure as a Brand and Marketing Intern was both enlightening and transformative. As a cornerstone brand with deep-rooted legacy, Kalyan Jewellers prides itself on its heritage, yet recognized the need to adapt to the evolving digital age. Entrusted with the task of modernising its brand strategy, I collaborated closely with the owner, blending the company's rich traditions with contemporary brand solutions. A significant portion of my role revolved around amplifying the company's digital presence. With a special emphasis on social media campaigns, I orchestrated initiatives that resonated with both longstanding patrons and the newer generation of clientele. Beyond branding, my responsibilities expanded into overseeing the daily operations, which provided a 360-degree view of the jewellery business. This involved ensuring that orders were processed efficiently, workflows were optimised, and the team consistently met their deadlines. The complexity and scale of operations at Kalyan offered a dynamic environment, challenging me to enhance my leadership skills further. Overseeing operational flow and ensuring staff efficiency became second nature, as I balanced branding projects with managerial duties. The insights garnered from this experience have indelibly shaped my understanding of brand rejuvenation within a longstanding industry.

The Science and Technology Park based in Pune. The Scitech Park facilitates IPR and Technology management, Industry sponsored research, providing technology inputs for various governmental and industrial developmental projects. Development of new technologies and its commercialisation and provides need based high end training.I was part of the CSR team at the Scitech Park. Our job was to conduct research, project management, social media marketing, etc. Our team connected with over 200 industry people, organised a high-end fundraiser, worked on a major CSR project that involved enhancing the quality of life of a village near Pune, and coming up with creative strategies to promote CSR activities within the company. This experience helped me in understanding the integral significance of CSR for a company and how to effectively market it. Furthermore, I was able to polish my skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication, and creative thinking.

GSI operates in the automobile industry with multiple business verticals ranging from consultancy to product provisions. I worked with the CEO for 4 months. I designed and presented multiple presentations for the team ranging from market research, business analysis (lean model canvas), customer value propositions, process flowcharts etc. My communication, confidence, and team building skills were further polished when I completed an Excel Dashboards course, and was to teach the team at GSI. Over time, I noticed an area of improvement for GSI; building an online presence. Discussions led to devising strategies like establishing social media marketing, however, my priority was a high quality company website as it would be most effective given the target market. In a month’s time the website I made from scratch was approved and ready to publish. I honed a strong sense of professionalism and enhanced my leadership qualities and problem solving skills.

Edmont Industries is a company that operates in the automobile manufacturing industry in India. It manufactures parts for vehicles having Maruti as one of their biggest clients. I was hired as a senior intern and was given a set of responsibilities that included designing the company card, creating operations flowcharts for the manager, overseeing day to day operations in the factory, and finding effective and efficient solutions for certain challenges the company was facing or hoped to improve.
