I started my career in tea industry in the year 2011. I have been working with Contemporary Brokers Pvt Ltd, which is a leading tea broking firm based in Kolkata, for last 12 years. Currently my designation is that of a Manager. My job profile includes tasting of CTC, Dust and Orthodox categories of teas, both from Assam and Dooars regions. I have also been selling teas in the weekly tea auctions as the main auctioneer. Another integral part of my work is developing and maintaining good relations with the clients, both the producers and the buyers.
