Logistics Coordinator
CurrentHas control over how inventory is stored, where it is delivered, and manages the entire movement of the supply, all the way through to the last mile of delivery. Some of their tasks include:Management of the supply chain activities: Ensuring supply chain activities are coordinated and tracked, and managing warehouse inventories, orders for equipment and overheads.Ordering and tracking of shipping and inventory: Guaranteeing filling of orders placed, and deliveries made to the right locations within the planned timelines and maintaining accuracy in the order of shipment and determining the cause of the shipment failures.Coordination of communication: Carrying out inter-stage communication amongst producers, marketers, and distributors and reacting to customer complaints.Control of documentation: Verification of the contents of purchase orders and shipping documents for completeness; issuance of bills and invoices.Control of budgets: Formulation and implementation of budgets on materials for distribution and shipment.Sequencing of processes: Creating additional processes which are meant to enhance the organization of the supply chain.Management of hazmat: Management and control of HAZWASTE and HAZMAT storages; management and control of HAZWASTE SHIPMENTS.
