Finance & Asset Management Operations- Investment Accounting.• Responsible for the accurate calculation and reporting of public and collective fund net asset values and life fund accumulation unit values. Perform the daily accounting and reconciliation of fund activity including shareholder activity, fund expenses, fund distributions, reconciling the NAV/AUV, reviewing security trades and reconciling cash transactions.• Prepare monthly reports and follow balancing procedures on custodian reconciliations, fixed expense analysis and statement reconciliations.• Record accurately and timely accounting statements in compliance with the Department policies and procedures, such records as securities positions, corporate actions related, and journal entries for pooled investment vehicles and accounts managed by the firm.• Knowledge on the fixed income products like Bonds, IO Securities and Currency Funds• Verify accuracy of trade input and their impacts. Analyze daily income accruals and interest/ dividend payments. Review fund distributions. Communicate with transfer agents, custodians and other departments as needed.• Work with internal and external auditors during audits.• Work on Bloomberg for doing research and analysis.
