- Led a team to migrate mission-critical Aruba Activate that all Aruba networking devices rely on (20+ million) for activation from a solution deployed On-Prem in a Datacenter to the Cloud. AWS PaaS offerings (EKS, RDS, ElasticCache, DynamoDB) were leveraged.- One of first 3 engineers followed by lead role for Analytics and Location Engine (ALE): microservice responsible to aggregate wireless user data received via Access Points. Used this data to extract insights on Applications, RSSI strengths and to triangulate user location that gets mapped to the customers deployment floorplans (Airports, Mall, Shops, etc.). Technology Stack: Java, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Protocol Buffers, Postgres, Redis, Cassandra.- Led the team on XFN integration to push the location and other analytics data on to other Aruba product that provides space optimization, network, and other visibility tools to end customers.- Worked directly with end customers and channel partners to deploy the beta product for POC, get firsthand input and incorporate that in our product roadmap. Features came out of these were GeoFence, feedback loop, filtering, foot traffic, density etc.
