Let's just run towards the story?The journey starts with me choosing Bachelor’s of Computer Application in my graduation, not knowing anything about the course and not having interest to know either. Well, why did I choose it then?This is the question I still ask myself. Late realization. Ughhhh. Okay, so you are now a hard coder or a developer, right? Well, no I am not. I’ll tell you why. I couldn’t just develop the interest. It happens, right? When you know you have to do something and you do try to do it, but you fail. And not because its not your cup of tea, but just because you prefer coffee. The only thing I could always feel confident about is dealing with people and my communication skill. And so, I knew whatever I do, I have to make sure it revolves around me dealing with people or where my skills are being used to its maximum potential. 5th semester, the third year of my college, class on Java going on, don’t remember the professor’s name, but who cares. And, me and my friend Manish, were discussing how we can help businesses grow online at the same time independently. How we can make a change and not just be a part of the rat’s race where majority of the people don't know why are they doing what they are doing. And that is where it began. We planned to help businesses unlock their Maximum Potential. And hence, named our startup “MAX-POT”.The idea was simple, I’ll reach out to the businesses locally, and Manish would make their online presence (Google My Business, Social Media, Websites, etc)We planned. We scripted. We executed. At the age of 19, I was ready to dial numbers after extracting data of businesses through Just Dial, having no idea what cold calling means. And, Shockingly, we closed 12 clients in the very first month. And, honestly, I didn’t know anything about sales, maybe I still don’t. All I had was the ability to communicate. It came naturally to me, I suppose. We have now expanded to over 5 cities, and if everything goes according to our plan, we are making it big in the near future. And what if everything does not go according to our plan ?Well, who said I don't have a plan B ? ; )We were skilled at what we were doing, and the best part was we knew why we were doing it. We still do. And that’s how I became the Head of Sales, here at MAXPOT. You know, there are people who are made for some job. And then there are some jobs that are made for some people. What else do I do?I talk. That’s my superpower. Anyway. Let’s Tea/Coffee?
