Validation of a Subject-specific Computational Models of the Ankle Joint Complex Master’s thesis (Advisor: Dr. Sorin Siegler, Ph.D.), Drexel University - Conducted dynamic multi-body simulations of the ankle joint complex under different loadings in MSC ADAMS software.- Validated the models developed in ADAMS to results from published journal papers- Enhanced the surface to surface contact properties and mapped the surface-to-surface interaction of the results obtained from ADAMS in Geomagic Control (Reverse Engineering) software.- Investigated the effect of surface morphology on the range of motion of the joint complex and evaluated the performance of Cylindrical and Inman implants on a subject-specific basis- The results obtained were developed into an abstract for presentation in i-fab 2018 conference.

Dynamic FEA Analysis of Ankle Cartilage under Axial Loading. Master’s thesis (Advisor: Dr. Sorin Siegler, Ph.D.), Drexel University - Developed a 3-dimensional Finite Element Model of the Ankle joint.- Investigated the stress developed in the ankle cartilage under axial loading using finite element analysis in ABAQUS- Gained a good understanding of modeling highly deformable (soft) parts in ABAQUS - Obtained detailed knowledge of modeling adequate contact and material parameters for bi-phasic materials- Developed good pre-processing abilities on ABAQUS CAE finite element solver.

- Developed thorough knowledge in the field of Computational Fluid Mechanics - Developed Structured boundary attached grid over an airfoil through computer programming in C and performed the CFD analysis on a programmable user interface solver code- Simulated the CFD analysis for the same flows in ANSYS FLUENT- Obtained concurrent results with various workshops and finally generated a project report and got it certified from DRDL, Hyderabad.
