As a Sound Therapist I offer my love of singing, sound, movement and creativity to help others. Certified as a Sound Therapist, with Toronto’s Institute of Traditional Medicine, I play numerous instruments, having trained in voice, guitar and cello. I have a Bachelor of Fine Art (Concordia University), a Bachelor of Education, Artist in Community Education (ACE-Queen’s University) degree and a Certificate in Human Psychology (Bishop’s University). I am a Reiki level 2 healer and have completed 350 hours of shamanic and energy healing training with Liddy Flewelling in Montreal, Quebec. I am also a Psychedelic Guide with 127 hrs of training with The Centre for Medicinal Mindfulness out of Colorado. ARTS EDUCATOR for all ages - I am a passionate advocate for the arts and know the arts enhance and transform the lives of all who engage with them. As a visual arts educator I create, market and implement high quality, accessible and innovative arts programming for workshops, classes and events. I have taught at Community Centres, Universities, in an Alcohol and Drug Treatment Centre, in Toronto’s Regent Park and more. At Quebec’s Townshippers’ Association I worked with inter-generational community groups to create art and music festivals in 5 small towns. I am an Ontario Certified Teacher with vast classroom arts education experiences through Arts Smarts, OAC AIR(E) and practicum and substitute teaching placements including teaching Grades K-12 in Ontario, British Columbia and Quebec.

As a painter I have exhibited my acrylic on canvas paintings in 38 group and solo shows inCanada and abroad, most recently studying with Alex Grey in New York at the COSM. For many years I studied music (guitar and vocals), theatre and dance. Shannon Brown is a Spiritual Coach, Plant Medicine and Psychedelic Guide, Visionary Artist, Sound Therapist and Transformational Retreats Facilitator. Shannon combines multiple creative modalities in her healing arts practice including Sound Therapy, Expressive Arts, Shamanic Healing and Ritual, Dreamwork, Mindfulness and Reiki, and is a lifelong yogi, musician and dancer. During ceremony she works with the sacred plant medicine Cannabis Sativa and it is her wish that this ancient beautiful flower find it’s place of honour in the world of psychedelic medicines.
