In 2016 after 25 years working in production and post-production. I changed my career; some might say it was a midlife crisis, a costly one. But flying was something I always felt like I was called to do. God affirmed this in so many unique ways to me. I continue to teach multi-engine, Instrument, and our Cirrus students in addition to my role as Chief Pilot at Volar Flight School and manage our growing fleet and instructors. I also fly a G58 Baron for Oklahoma Heart Hospital and the Citation C510. My past career in video was great. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with so many creative and talented artists. It was a fantastic ride.Changing my career to be a full-time professional pilot has been a long road, and there are still many miles to travel. The biggest thing I have learned over this journey is to keep everyone from telling you you are too old to change your career. God can do anything if you let him take charge.
