Naval Architect with more than 12 years’ experience in ship and offshore structure analysis and design.Associate Member of Royal Institute of Naval Architects.I earned a B.Tech (Hons) and an M.Tech in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2010, as part of a 5-year Integrated Bachelors and Masters (Dual Degree) program.I have experience in basic and detailed design of floating structures, including floating bridges, floating piers, floating dry docks, etc. Further, experience in static, quasi-static and dynamic mooring analysis for alongside, single point, conventional buoy, and ship-to-ship moorings. Experience in Ship Inspection, Hull Structure and Strength, and Incident Investigation. I also have experience in Basic Design of Jack-Up Rig.Softwares: Experience and familiarity with a wide range of engineering and design software packages, including MAXSURF, Autoship, OPTIMOOR, OrcaFlex, Ansys, SACS, FEMAP and Rembrandt.I have Intimate familiarity with classification society rules and other standards, including DNV-GL, ABS, BV, IRS, API and BS. 2 years’ experience in working with a classification society. I have worked for project delivery across countries in Asia and Europe.
