Dr Vivek Menon is a Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellow at University of Texas in Houston.- 2023 - Present - Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellow - University of Texas in Houston- 2020 - 2023 - Cardiovascular Medicine Fellow - Magnolia Regional Health Center, Corinth, Mississippi - 2019 - 2020 - Electrophysiology Hospitalist - Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio- 2016 - 2019 - Assistant Professor of Medicine and cardiovascular researcher - Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OhioHe completed his medical school from Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen with honors. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Cardiology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Menon did his internship, residency and chief residency at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship and Chief Fellow in Cardiology from Magnolia Regional Health Center, Corinth, Mississippi.Dr. Menon received the Resident of the Year Award during residency and highest in-training exam score in his Cardiology Fellowship. He is extremely passionate about teaching medical students and residents. His research focus includes anti-arrhythmics, ventricular tachycardia ablation, endothelial dysfunction and vascular interventions.
