- Shree Cement Ltd. is a 3rd largest cement producer in India having 50 Million tons per annum capacity and 900 MW Power Generation capacity with largest waste heat recovery based power plants.- Achieved continuous 10 years ZERO FATAL ACCIDENT Target with frequency rate less than 1 and severity rate below 20.- Established Corporate Safety Cell in order to develop, implement and review of common safety system & practices across 14 units of Shree Cement Ltd.- Develop the Key performance indicators with leading & lagging indicators of safety for measuring the effectiveness and track, analyse & present unit wise data for Top Management review.- Identify strategic safety improvement initiatives and programs with management plan of action for implementation.- Develop plan of actions for implementation of EHS policy and ensure compliance.- Liaison with statutory authorities such as Inspector of Factories, Pollution Control Boards and submission of various monthly compliance reports etc.

- UltraTech Cement, Unit: Kotputli Cement Works Dist. Jaipur (Raj)- A green field project of Aditya Birla Group was started in 2007 and 10,000 TPD plant commissioned in March 2010- Site coordinator for DuPont engagement (Global No: 1 Safety Consultant) at Ultra Tech Cement Kotputli for implementation of EHS Management System and Safety Built into the culture.- Develop, monitor and present compiled Site Safety Matrices / dash boards during monthly Apex committee meeting.- Facilitate all EHS sub-committees and provide feedback for effective functioning of Rules & Procedures Sub-committee, Incident Investigation Sub-committee, Contractor Safety Management Sub-committee, Safety Observation & Audit Sub-committee, Training & Capabilities Sub-committee, and Transport Safety Sub-committee.- Develop, monitor and present compiled Site Safety Matrices / dash boards during monthly Apex committee meeting.

- Advice & assist HODs / plant in-charges for conducting HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment), JCC (Job Cycle Check) and assessing quality of SWP (Safe Work Procedure).- Develop activity / area wise PPE matrix, display, standardised and ensure quality and availability of required PPE.- Liaison with statutory authorities such as Inspector of Factories, Pollution Control Boards and submission of various monthly compliance reports etc.- Budgeting and planning for procurement of various Fires & Safety equipments for plants use.

- Plan and execute safety promotional activities such as: 1. Organizing Safety functions 2. Screening of safety video films 3. Analysis of accidents 4. Conduct safety & environment awareness training programs for senior officers, trade union leaders, regular workers, contractors and their workers 5. Benchmarking to asses safety performance- Auditing of OHSAS - 18001 Procedures and monitoring their performance.- Prepared, review & update Safety Manual, Contractor’s Safety Manual, On Site Emergency Plan, fire safety manual, hazardous waste manual & their disposals.- Assess emergency preparedness by conducting regular mock drills and have experience in handling of various Hazardous Chemicals.

- Plan and conduct specialised safety-training programs for HODs / Line Engineers / Regular Workers / Contractors and their workers.- Prepare various safety checks for plant safety and advise HODs for their implementation.- Accident prevention programs, investigation of critical accidents, & their analysis.- Arrange safety meetings for senior management staff where policy decisions are taken.- Close monitoring / follow up with HODs for implementing of various recommendations.- Manpower planning & maintenance of fire & safety equipments.
