Rikshem is one of Sweden’s largest private housing company with 25 000 apartments.My responsibilities include e.g.- Responsibility for central framework agreements including performing procurement, signing contracts, monitoring contract fidelity, meetings with suppliers etc.- Implement company policies and procedures regarding purchases - Monitor legislative and other regulations and trends affecting purchasing- Offer purchasing-related expertise such as education and training of employees and help our offices with advice regarding contracting and dispute settlements- System management of IT systems such as systems for procurement, contracts and spendanalysis

I was responsible for the complete purchasing process across several purchasingcategories. I investigated the need for agreements, performed procurement, andsubsequently managed procurement contracts. Contract management involvedinforming and supporting internal customers, managing contacts with contractors andcontract follow-ups. Svenska Bostäder is Sweden’s largest municipal housing companyand procurement follows the special laws and regulations of the European Unionfor municipal and state owned companies (Lagen om offentlig upphandling, LOU).

Managed conversions from tenancy rentals to owner-occupied apartments. Theconversion process included steps such as the management of contacts with housingassociations and tenants, providing data to the board, reviewing property valuations andtrying to raise the value, establish agreements for sale and transactions. I preformedapproximately 35 transactions including 3000 apartments.

I took care of the company´s portfolio of properties including apartments and premises. I oversaw the technical issues of the properties, was responsible for the maintenance budget, fulfilled regulatory requirements and contracted entrepreneurs. My work also involved working closely with caretakers for operational optimization and contacts with tenants. The position gave me a deep understanding of the operation of a real estate company as I first had to perform procurement, then was responsible during the construction time and after that had to take care of the property as the property manager.

Employed during five summer seasons at Sweden’s largest travel agency for journeys by bus. Tasks involved responsibility for the journey, accommodation, accounting and guiding excursions. I learned various administrative tasks as well as how to lead and speak in front of large groups of people.
