Here's some of the things I'm proud of:I played a pivotal role in the development, launch and evolution of our cross-platform smart home app (UI and backend) using our proprietary Javascript-like language.I actively advocated for early-stage product/UX design improvements, resulting in the elimination of unnecessary features. Altogether, this saved 18+ months of development time and resulted in better experiences for customers.I led a contracted team, developing 300+ device drivers and applications for our IoT platform.Identified need for better smart home metrics and developed a bash script solution in a time crunch, resulting in a successful customer experience monitoring project, detecting issues 50%+ faster.I accelerated pre-launch integration testing for multiple products by triaging bugs on the spot.In addition to engineering work, I spearheaded critical projects in customer support, marketing, internal tools, and UX design.I designed and implemented a versatile automation system for Devicebook smart homes, overcoming technical limitations of JavaScript-like internal programming language by inventing new programming paradigms and language features.I greatly increased usability of the platform by co-designing and implementing application interface.I enriched the customer experience with the design and implementation of 100+ smart home features.In Dec 2023, Devicebook ceased operations due to challenges with funding.Technologies: JavaScript, C#, .Net, Node.js, UWP, Linux, Bash, WSL2 Show less
