My professional objectives include ensuring public spending is well used and monitored, and supporting public and voluntary bodies deliver the best services.I have been specialised in the voluntary and not-for-profit sector since 2004. I am now an Audit Director at Crowe UK, with experiences working with charities big and small, who work locally and internationally. I am also a Trustee of Solace Women's Aid and a member of the Finance and Resources Sub-committee.Qualifications:Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA) since 2008.Fellow Chartered Accountant with Institute of Chartered Accountants in England in Wales (qualified since 2004).Specialties: Charity accounting - experienced with Statement of Recommended Practice, charity audit, financial reporting and governance requirements.Training - strong interest and experience in training groups and individuals on charity governance, accounting, and financial reporting.
