As a first-generation college student, I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at Sam Houston State University. I have demonstrated my ability to balance work and study by graduating high school with over 50 college credits, while also holding a part-time job for most of my high school years.In my internship, I contributed to the district's public relations efforts by capturing and uploading photos of various events to the website and social media platforms. I also gained valuable experience in working with different stakeholders, such as students, teachers, administrators, and media outlets. Additionally, I worked as a Shift Manager at Schlotzsky's for over two years, where I have learned to lead, motivate, and support a team of employees, as well as to provide excellent customer service and handle multiple tasks. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to the field of criminal justice and to make a positive impact in my community.
