As part of this role I responsible for the set up of funding opportunities, assessment of grant applications, allocation of funding and setting up contracts. I was responsible for performance managing nearly 200 grant funded organisations within the Online Centres Network. As part of this role I used a number of reports and dashboards/management information reports to feedback to project managers and put in place action plans to increase performance in order to meet KPIs. A large part of the role was to identify potential barriers organisations are facing with meeting targets. I have experience and knowledge of designing, creating and delivering both face to face and webinar training at the beginning of a project. As part of the role I also line managed one member of staff and was responsible for contracts up-to the value of £500,000.

My responsibilities for this role were the same as those for Network Specialist - Grants however, also included managing contracts over the value of £500,000 and line management of two staff.

During my role as Network Manager I was responsible for the recruitment, performance management and quality assurance of 9 Online Centres in Carlisle, Ceredigion, Hackney and Tower Hamlets to deliver the 2019 Census rehearsal in preparation for Census 2021. I was responsible for gathering and feeding back key issues of the rehearsal to contribute to service changes working closely with Service Design colleagues. I supported in the organisation, set up and support to deliver 4 face to face training sessions. This role also involved frequent travel to Carlisle, Ceredigion, Hackney and Tower Hamlets to undertake site visits before and during the Census 2019 rehearsal.
