- Developed a data-intensive real-time stats engine (Python stats pluginswith a gRPC interface for a C++ client) that collected, aggregated, and merged large volumes of data to make real-time predictions and adjustments to the spending rate of online ad campaigns.- Built data pipelines to process and export Avro logs to BigQuery; optimized the slow performance of Python Avro log processing with C & Cython.- Developed an anomaly and outlier detection system.- Built a complex test framework for testing a custom high-performance ad server (the key component of the company advertising platform); - Shifted testing infrastructure from Perl to Python.- Developed and maintained various in-house tools & and utilities with Python and Java.- Put in place documentation & and knowledge-sharing practices.
