● Researched the possibility of remote detection of objects by laser photothermal radiometry method.● Theoretical calculations for the detection range and equivalent temperature difference noise are presented in the context of laser surface activation. The findings indicate a distinct deviation in the ratio between these factors and the noise threshold level when compared to passive radiometry scenarios.● Experimentally demonstrated that the detection distance depends on the thermal inertia of the material.
