- Independently manage implementation of daily laboratory responsibilities in absence of lab manager. - Routine lab tasks include: daily recording of lab conditions based on A2LA requirements, keeping inventory of stock, ordering chemicals and lab supplies as needed, cleaning of all glassware and equipment, making reagents based on SOPs, maintaining lab organization and cleanliness. - Collaborate with Project Managers/Supervisors and field technicians in an effort to accurately prepare all lab related field equipment based on project work plans and according to emission testing method protocols for outgoing sampling collection projects. - Receive, label and conduct lab analysis on all in-house and on-site field samples by following established method protocols based on EPA, AQMD and CARB agencies and updating computer files with analysis results. - Utilizing several laboratory testing techniques such as pH & ISE analysis, aliquots measurements, titrations, filtrations, extractions, and sample weighing to analyze and report findings on preserved samples within allowed hold times.- Ability to follow established safety practices and procedures of our lab and all visited facilities -Occasionally traveling to local and out of state facility sites to provide clients with on site testing analysis and results.
