Intern - Intelligence And Cybersecurity Diversity Fellowship Program
CurrentWas chosen as a part of the inaugural class of this prestigious fellowship created by congressman Bennie G. Thompson; conducted interviews with the congressman as well as the Secretary of Homeland Security. Works alongside highly skilled cybersecurity professionals at DHS, gains hands-on technical experience, and interacts with experts and peers at professional development events, briefings, and national conferences. Collaborates with analysts and subject matter expert mentors to produce products utilized by CISA and DHS. Studied and completed trainings in risk assessment and management, industrial control system cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, election security, and many more topics concerning national infrastructure security. Spent the summer working in Washington, DC and continues working remotely part-time while attending school. Chosen as a program ambassador and representative at outreach events.
