The project was done to verify CFD data obtained during the master thesis. I did preliminary calculations, blockage estimations, CAD modeling of the entire setup, helped out with manufacturing, reference testing, instrument calibration and finally experimenting and post processing.Key Achievements:- Successful designing and manufacturing of devices placed into the wind tunnel.- Verification of known standard cases and calibration of the system- Verification of CFD data.- Patent application.- Scientific paper will be published.- Impending collaboration between Ducati and the University of Bologna.

Title: Motorcycle Cornering Improvement: An Aerodynamical Approach based on Flow Interference.The concept was an own idea, based upon flow interference between two bodies in a flow field. This way the concept suggests an improvement of the motorcycles cornering characteristics.Key Achievements:- Successful investigation of the flow field around two specific bodies in CFD (Fluent).- Conceptual estimations of advantages this implementation will bring.- Erasmus Stipendium to further investigate the concept at the University of Bologna.
