As an Assistant Attorney General, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to take on a great deal of responsibility in handling cases from start to finish, including arguing motions and appeals. When I moved into the private practice, I expanded my practice to focus on general, civil litigation matters and enjoyed the experience of working directly with my clients and their in-house counsel to assess the best strategies for resolving their legal matters. I have always known that I wanted to be an attorney as young as seven or eight years old. I naturally gravitate towards counseling and attempting to aid people with resolving various problems, and thus, I had a long-term plan and desire to major in Psychology, but because I also had a fascination with the law, I knew that, as an attorney, I could combine what comes naturally to me by practicing law.When I’m not working, I am spending time with friends and family, and contributing my time to community involvement. I am also an avid tennis player and enjoy being active outdoors.
