 Daniel has a good eye for detail and is structured in his approach to programme management. His natural effervescence (and love for dad jokes!) also made it easy for him to bring together volunteers from all walks of life in the community. He gives his whole heart to everything he does, is full of interesting ideas, and a zealous spirit to keep experimenting and improving systems.

Engineering Good (EG) hired him on a 6-month contract basis as he was still studying to be a Social Worker and had a upcoming practicum as part of his formal social work training. In his time with EG, Daniel's primary goal was to reorganise the department's processes, workspace, as well as handle the day-to-day operations. He not only achieved these goals, he also worked closely with his team to engage with corporate volunteering groups, developed the outline of a training syllabus, and manage several interns in the process. His work improved the operations of the department, increased support from our corporate partners, as well laid the foundations of how training would be conducted. As an added bonus, he often shared his understanding of the social landscape and this helped to enhance the team's understanding of the issues faced by the vulnerable groups that EG serves.
