Vagner Morais is a seasoned business, management, and investment advisor with over 15 years of experience within global corporations and international organizations, including the European Commission (Brussels) and the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN - Geneva). Throughout his career, Vagner has led and been involved in the management and delivery of enterprise-wide business & technology programs to a wide variety of industries including Energy, TMT, and Government. In his endeavors, he has been exposed to high profile stakeholders, in both private and public sectors, in which he has gained exposure to a wide span of European Regulation and European affairs. In his academic endeavors, he has co-authored a couple of relevant publications presented in international meetings, including two technical engineering books (one currently in the 3rd edition), considered both reference books in the field. His management&investment consulting activities are focused on providing tailored advisory and value-driven services by helping customers aligning investment decisions with overall strategy, operations, and funding opportunities (International & European funding). Vagner holds a 5-year-degree in Electrical and Computer Engineer from the University of Oporto and a post-graduation in Digital Systems and Industrial Informatics from the same university. He has graduated with an MBA from London Business School (2013), where he was awarded an exchange program to the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. His main focus of interest are strategic/management consulting, strategic innovation, business/digital transformation, growth finance, and alternative asset management, in particular venture capital (seed, early & growth stage). As an advisor to deep tech startups and SMEs, he is genuinely keen on supporting and exploring disruptive entrepreneurship ventures focused on high-growth, high-impact sectors (e.g. low carbon, ICT) with the potential to create value for stakeholders and the global economy.
