Current• Developed fiber optic sensors based on EFPI technology for pressure, temperature and vibration measurement. • Designed optical communication system for live data display of downhole tools including flow meter, CCL etc.• Designed, developed and tested low cost CCL tool based on optical switch.• Developed sensor multiplexing system using WDM to combine vibration and temperature sensor thereby saving the company over $20000 per system in the manufacturing cost.• Developed high temp optical switching system for downhole application, thereby enabling use of more sensors without increasing the optical fiber count.• Changed the manual testing and calibration procedure for the fiber optic sensors into a completely automatic system. • Manufactured interrogation system for signal processing and improved the existing sensor analysis software.
