Interpret explanation of benefits, navigate multiple computer systems and insurance sites, and resolve the daily insurance needs of the clinic. Key responsibilities included verifying client insurance, submitting and receiving authorizations for treatment, reviewing and adjusting denied claims, reviewing and updating client medical records, and maintaining excellent communication between the billing department, clinical staff, and clients. In addition, I created a training manual documenting all billing procedures and outlining how to do all duties associated with the role for further higing and traing use.
