Utilizing the newly established model, the program management team linked previously unassociated and disconnected business domains. This effort Enabled senior-level leadership to make data-driven decisions with various stakeholders, given the new high level of data fidelity and overall visibility.

Design modern IT solutions for various classified programs across Raytheon’s Naval Power Mission area. Key focus areas were Standards development, solutions governance (deployment/integration), compliance management, sustainability, and scalability. Key Achievements:•Consult with customers as a Datacenter Virtualization (Private Cloud) Architect to generate assessments and develop a scope of work containing actionable recommendations based on assessment results, current best practices, and reference architecture designs. •Provide technical and architectural leadership by delivering innovative virtualized solutions to address customer-specific requirements that are robust, scalable and cost-effective while improving on-premises cloud systems interoperability.•Lead development of architectural frameworks supporting best practices for deploying and configuring virtualized data centers. The resulting architectures were based on standards such as The Open Group Architectural Framework (TOGAF) and Department of Defense Architectural Framework (DoDAF)•Implemented oversight processes to ensure governance and management of architectural frameworks, diagrams, and solutions. This effort resulted in a 70% reduction in deployment time, a 50% increase in customer adoption, and a 200% decrease in overall IT capital required to deploy templated solutions.

•Created a customized holistic, full stack, End User Compute architecture which interconnected several disparate technologies into a homogeneous solution which utilized the following: VMware Horizon, VRO, VRA, DEM, VrLi, HPE OneView, Wyse Client & Client Manager.•Conduct Surveys of environments across multiple stages of virtualization implementation and digital transformation to develop detailed plans of action (statements of work). These artifacts included detailed timelines, as-is and to-be states, key deliverables and overall project scope and cost analysis.•Research and learn about the latest technologies and gain understanding of how new tools, procedures and technologies can continue to drive efficiencies for our digital transformation story within the confines of classified environments. •Translate between customer need, business value and solution design architectures utilizing TOGAF modeling standards to ensure all stakeholders are actively informed, involved and understanding of project scope and value to the organization. •Enhance business value by leading a technical collaborative group of consisting of IT professionals across the organization. This effort allowed for reductions in siloization, resulting in vast reductions of duplicate of work and increasing shared knowledge. Furthermore, awareness gained was then leveraged for strategic modernization efforts within the existing legacy monolithic datacenters.•Lead development of artifacts supporting of best practices for deployment and configuration of virtualized datacenters within the confines of both vendor guidelines and DoD standards such as DISA STIG and RMF.

•Collaborate with systems administrators, project leaders, and end customers to ensure accurate requirements gathering, scope validation and overall success in addressing the core business need.•Planned and implemented a VMware Horizon deployment supporting over 300 Virtual machines while ensuring optimal performance for various use cases.•Designed and implemented a Software Defined Infrastructure based on VMware ESXi in a classified environment, replacing over 20 legacy servers with 14 new HP servers within an ESXi VSAN Cluster. •Deployed a scalable architecture for deployment of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure with in a classified and isolated environment featuring use of Nvidia GRID Virtual Workstations. •Monitor and manage a large scale production Windows active directory environment, consisting of multiple sites, domains (domain trust) and over 700 end points. •Serve as the top-level SME and escalation point for junior systems administrators covering both Windows and VMware related issues.
