Victoria Romero is the Founder of VR LAW. She was called to the Bar in 2003. She practised Civil Litigation for the first 11 years of her career. She developed an in-depth expertise in disability law, insurance law and personal injury. As a Mediator, Arbitrator and Workplace Fairness Analyst (WFA) since 2014 and as an Online Dispute Resolution Professional (ODR) since 2017, she has been supporting her community by providing access to justice through her work. She has mediated family and personal injury disputes. She had adjudicated in different Tribunals at the municipal and provincial levels.In 2016, she founded VR LAW, a full-service law firm with concentration in Real Estate, Family and Wills. She has worked hard to build the most experienced VRLAW team since then and expand the range of legal services offered. Thanks to our community, VR LAW continues to grow. Our Real Estate Department has expanded to serve more clients. We are now serving businesses with Corporate Commercial services. We support Business Visionaries! Parents are using our Separation Agreements to function better as families and support their children. We continue to give access to justice to Long Term Disability recipients. Our elder clients and clients with disabilities, who are not mobile, are still receiving home visits. More people are coming to us with their notaries in different languages.Contributing to the community is very important to us. Victoria's three decades of volunteer work has included different organizations such as the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association (formerly HOLA), the Centre for Spanish Speaking Peoples and different boards including the Equity Advisory Group of the Law Society. Victoria is committed to advancing issues of equity and diversity in the community.
