I am the Managing Director of Network Express Courier Services Pte Ltd, Network International Courier Services Pte Ltd, Premier’s Tea Moods Pte Ltd and Founder of Rapido Distributions Pte Ltd and started my entrepreneurship journey as a self-taught despatch rider in a courier company in 1982.I realized that the courier industry needed a much needed improvement in customer relations and delivery system and sought to build a company driven by passion with customer oriented courier solutions while serving them with innovative solutions. Network Express Courier Services Pte Ltd in 1990 was set up to meet our growing business needs. As technology and communications brought the world closer, I realized that there would be a surge in international courier services. We have a growing customer base internationally and Network International Courier Services was set up in 1993 to serve the global market.Anticipating a fast growing courier industry, I soon launched a van division to his organization to deliver bulkier items. With this vision, Network Courier soon became one of the few companies who offered such a service option where customers were able to tap upon to deliver goods and other heavier packages. This enabled customers to enjoy a one-stop courier service provider, who could handle their documents, goods and international courier requirements.Due to increasing business demands, the company which began with just 10 employees grew to over 180 employees serving to 5,000 customers and handling an average of 14,000 deliveries a day.I am pleased to connect and collaborate with community builders as well as industry leaders.
