I gained valuable experience as a business owner, manager, and photographer through my career as a professional photographer in Iowa and my work in Tulsa as a photographer, real estate sales associate, real estate photographer, and as a volunteer photographer for non-profits. Although retired now I spend a lot of time doing volunteer photography for the non-profits StreetCats, Inc. of Tulsa, and Tulsa River Parks. I have created calendars for StreetCats and Tulsa River Parks, both. I have 35+ years experience as a professional photographer with 10 years of real estate sales, real estate photography, and marketing. I also do travel photography with images from Cuba, and Peru, including Machu Picchu. One image taken at Tulsa's Oktoberfest was highlighted in an article about Oktoberfest celebrations around the USA on Fodor's travel publications website. My experience with real estate photography, architectural, and interior design photography, allows me to do excellent work for advertising and marketing of properties, and products. I did aerial photography for my corporate clients and used it in the marketing of my real estate listings. My volunteer work has given me a lot of successful experience in photographing public events, people, scenics, and the photography of cats. With a Master's degree from the Professional Photographers of America and a Bachelor's Degree from Oklahoma State University, I have gained experience with portraiture for business and private use, interior and exterior architectural, industrial, and aerial photography. My photography of cats has won many awards. My work as a photographer of portraits, commercial and corporate clients, and interiors, for designers, architects, and Realtors has brought me state and national awards. Along with state professional awards, and an international award, I have also won 6 very prestigious awards for excellence from Kodak. One of my award winning images, that I created for a designer, was on display at the Epcot Center in Florida. The designer of the room, shown in the image, also had some of my images from another property in an Architectural Digest regional issue.
