I lead the Welsh Government’s Modern Slavery & Workers’ Rights Team. I am responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of a broad programme of work to tackle modern slavery and unethical and illegal employment practices with a focus on supporting survivors.I chair the Wales Anti-Slavery Leadership Group and the Wales Anti-Slavery Academic Group.

In this role, I was responsible for organising events and opportunities for over 200 Fast Streamers working at the Ministry of Justice and its agencies. Formally employed by Ishikawa Prefecture Board of Education, I was responsible for planning and delivering lessons to classes of up to 40 students at Noto High School - a mixed academic, commercial, fishing and agricultural school with students aged 15 to 18.
