I lead the Welsh Government’s Modern Slavery & Workers’ Rights Team. I am responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of a broad programme of work to tackle modern slavery and unethical and illegal employment practices with a focus on supporting survivors.I chair the Wales Anti-Slavery Leadership Group and the Wales Anti-Slavery Academic Group, bringing together key partners from law enforcement agencies and civil society. I also have lead responsibility for the Welsh Government Code of Practice on Ethical Employment in Supply Chains, with over 400 signatory organisations from across a diverse range of sectors.I am also a core member of the UK Government’s Modern Slavery Strategy and Implementation Group and a member of the Independent Child Trafficking Guardianship Service National Steering Board, among other responsibilities. I work closely with various UK Government departments and agencies and other Devolved Administrations, the devolved public services in Wales, social partners, international organisations, research bodies, and many other key partners.

As a Strategy Lead, I worked on various portfolios, including leading work to embed customer insight and design work at HMRC, to develop interactive guidance on customer insight, and analysis at pace on consumer protection issues. As a Customer Business Partner, I worked on various projects including crypto-assets. international debt and money laundering.

I worked on a variety of projects, such as the Departmental Transformation Roadmaps - a tool providing a visual way to track progress in Transformational activities across Government. I served as the secretariat for the Finance Design Authority Working Group and took part in establishing and running the Organisation, Data, Technology and Insight Committee.

In this role, I was responsible for organising events and opportunities for over 200 Fast Streamers working at the Ministry of Justice and its agencies. This included working with a variety of stakeholders in and outside of Government, managing various working groups based across the UK, and organising and coordinating a variety of events. These included visits to prisons, Parliament, the Supreme Court and various learning and development opportunities.

Formally employed by Ishikawa Prefecture Board of Education, I was responsible for planning and delivering lessons to classes of up to 40 students at Noto High School - a mixed academic, commercial, fishing and agricultural school with students aged 15 to 18. I facilitated at regional summer camps, served as a judge at prefectural debating events, and took the lead in organising intercultural events that brought international students from across the world - Cuba, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia - to take part in events at my school.

As Managing Editor, my key responsibilities are: communicating deadlines among the Editorial Board, authors and designers; editing and making necessary improvements to authors and working with them to agree a final copy; supporting peer reviewers on the Editorial Board and sharing the peer reviewing / editing work board; proofreading final copies; assisting the Editor-In-Chief with admin tasks, including budget plans, funding applications and working together to produce a realistic time-frame to publication; actively contributing ideas to shape the Journal's development.

My role was to prepare various French food dishes individually and to serve wine at various venues in Japan. Usually I would work in a team of three alongside the company director Philippe Daniel and a guest sommelier; there were occasionally additional staff at larger events. Venues worked at included restaurants, a concert hall and the Yokosuka US naval base.
