I have a PhD in Computational Plasma Physics from CTU - FNSPE. My research concerns large-scale simulations of interactions of short ultra-intense laser pulses with plasmas with focus on applications in generation of gamma rays. It is a combination of plasma physics, numerical mathematics, and programming. I have a 10+ years experience with C++. I am an avid user of the C++20 features, and I eagerly follow the development of the upcoming standards. For past 5 years, I focus on investigating the possibilities of using Template Metaprogramming techniques to produce highly readable high-level code with top-performance across all layers - the algorithm, node parallelism (MPI), multi-threading (OpenMP), vectorization, and cache utilization.Since 2002, I was involved in the development of web applications. In the course of this work, I developed a firm belief in writing minimalist clean standards-conforming code, and following best practices in coding and security.I have over 15 years experience with Linux. I tried many distributions during the first years, at the moment my top 3 are Gentoo, Fedora, and Ubuntu. All my desktops, laptops, and servers run exclusively on Unix-like systems since 2005.In my free time, I create interactive multimedia art installations with projections, VR, and 3D cameras.
