Work with Network Management Center (NMC) - Global IP Core support, managing network devices worldwide across various networks including Private IP, Converged Packet Analysis, Internal Data Network, Verizon Management Network, and Verizon Wireless.Collaborate with external and internal Verizon teams to coordinate and troubleshoot network events.Oversee Trouble Ticket management, Outage/LOD notification, and escalation processes, continuously improving business practices.Lead efforts to restore catastrophic outages through alarm detection systems, leveraging web-based GUI applications.Provide timely and accurate network technical assistance to external teams, ensuring effective communication of technical details during network events and major outages.Experience with a wide range of network devices, including Cisco ASR1K, ASR 9k, Juniper PTX5000, MX960, VRR, and more.Perform surveillance for Verizon’s Global Power and Transport Layer 0, 1, and 2 networks, collaborating with vendors like Coriant, Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, Ciena/Nortel, and Fujitsu.Handle proactive network monitoring, fault isolation, triaging, and repair of network events to maintain network health and performance.
