Dr. Wade Rogers is founder of Still Pond Cytomics LLC, providing consulting and education in computational analysis of single cell data. Previously, he was co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of CytoVas, LLC, and before that, Director of Computational Biology and Research Informatics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He has more than 30 years of experience as a scientist, educator and innovator in industry and in academia having worked in various disciplines including oil exploration, neuroanatomy, geology and computational biology.Wade started his career at the National Bureau of Standards (now NIST) before joining the DuPont Company in the early 1980s. He has held positions at DuPont Pharmaceuticals, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Cira Discovery Sciences, CytoVas LLC, and the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Today, at Still Pond Cytomics, his interests are focused on developing computational algorithms for finding patterns in high dimensional biology, especially patterns in flow cytometic data. Wade received his BS in Physics from the University of Delaware, MS in Engineering Physics from the University of Virginia and PhD in Physics from the University of Colorado.
