District 4 School Board Member. Serving Beech Elementary, Hunter, Beech HS, Merrol Hyde, Whitten Elementary, KDDC, and Burrus Elementary.

-Assists in Special Event Budgeting, with midyear adjustments and retaining economic impact updates per each event.-Coordinates parks support services for events and programs. Includes Police, Fire, EMT Services, and additional event needs.-Coordinates hotels, caterers, and other vendors for special events. Includes reservations, orders, invoices, etc.-Oversees and is directly involved in special event coordination for over 180+ special events ran by the City and by other groups such as the Chamber of Commerce, Sumner CB, Civic Groups and other outside groups hosting events.-Provides information and assistance regarding events, procedures, forms, fees, or other issues; responds to complaints and initiates problem resolution.-Hires, schedules, supervises, and trains 30+ program supervisors for all recreation leagues, events, and programs.-Assists, as needed, in organizing and scheduling various youth athletic leagues.-Promotes recreational programs and events within the community and assists the Recreation -Coordinator with programing and event planning.-Prepares and distributes all social media within the department and sends updates to tourism and business venues keeping them up to date on all special events coming to the City. This includes all graphic design, website edits, and press releases.-Handles on-boarding and payroll for program supervisors.-Point of contact for all AV needs including sound systems and live sound.

Wedding services, audio technician, corporate events, Young Life events, proms and more. Over 400 events DJ’d and operated.

• Schedules, plans and promotes activities, programs and leagues for the community and residents.• Secures facilities, equipment, and transportation for programs and participants, compiles with procurement and maintenance requirements.• Oversees registration for activities and programs, develops team rosters, and maintains league rules.• Inputs all leagues schedules into the master schedule and communicates with the Assistant Directors on scheduling needs.• Plans, coordinates, organizes, conducts and supervises various sports programs including but not limited to: adult softball, adult kickball, adult basketball, adult volleyball, youth basketball, and youth baseball.• Handles issues of concern with parents, participants, staff, or volunteers.• Assists with special events including marketing, ticket management, website development, payment procedures, and day of event planning.• Prepares, presents, and implements new programs such as Esports, Sponsorships, Sand Volleyball, Trivia Nights, and other community engaging events.• Assists with updating specific programs on the website and software programs.• Implements new software and social media initiatives including Google Drive, Canva, Asana, and other file management.• Develops, creates, and distributes registration forms, flyers, and marketing promotions for all assigned programs. • Purchases equipment and supplies for programs; maintains inventory.• Prepares budget requests for programs and activities; ensures compliance with budget. • Attends park board meetings and provides reports and administrative support.• Coordinates with office staff and leagues to maintain the database of coaching requirements including background checks, CPR/Concussion Training.• Works with Assistant Directors to update field conditions and facility updating.• Performs other related duties as assigned.
