  Proud to be part of the Rapid7 Labs team where I get to focus on research projects to drive meaningful change in security programs and threat detection and response.Current projects:* Collection and analysis of Rapid7's MDR SOC threat data - we're analyzing the threat reports and associated evidence produced by our MDR SOC to identify trends in attacker activity, remediation recommendations, and preventative steps to reduce the impact of a breach.* Security program framework, intelligence, and maturity model - we're looking across the industry to create a framework that most organizations can use to determine the level of maturity needed for their security program based on business goals and industry, assess the maturity of their current program, and establish a roadmap for achieving the desired capabilities.* Threat research - it is a great experience to respond to "internet is on fire" events with a cross-function group of really smart people.* Threat sharing - we know a lot. we want others to know too.
