- As a layer 3 SOC engineer i am responsible for escalated incidence response and network forensic investigations for security Incidents, and report recommendations and guidelines for recovery, remediation plans and lessons learned.- Performing Threat hunting as proactive measurements and conduct research on emerging CyberThreats.- Responsible for the Design, Implementation and Operation of IT Security solutions including;Next Gen IPS/IDS, Next Gen Firewalls , WebProxy , E-mail Security , Endpoint Security(HIDs/HIPs/AVs), Database Security, SIEM Solutions , DDOS protection , DLP , 2-FactorAuthentications, Cisco ISE/ACS, SSL Encryption/Decryption , Vulnerability Assessment tools,Network/Endpoint Forensics, and APT solutions for (Network, E-mail and Endpoints).- Conduct research in emerging technologies in alignment with IT Strategy and Business Needs, toenhance existing or develop new IT security Services.- Subject matter expert for web application firewall WAF security policies roll-out and monitoring in accordance to the overall web application risk assessment metrics and access policies. - Contribute to the plan and delivery of information security for Technical/Administrative controlsto support achievement of strategy and risk management objectives.- Review and approve third party proposal and technical documentation provided for IT securityProjects.- Perform Continuous assessment for existing setup of security systems and recommendenhancements.- Recommend, establish, and reinforce Information Security policies, architecture, standards,procedures and guidelines consistent with the overall business and information security strateg

-Develop, communicate and implement information security policies, procedures, standards and practices across the organization.-Liaison with and offers strategic direction to related governance functions (such as Physical Security/Facilities, Risk Management, IT, HR, Legal, and Compliance) plus senior and middle managers throughout the organization as necessary, on information security matters such as routine security activities and control technologies.-Participate in planning and conducting information technology risk management as a corner stone of building the foundation for a reliable ISMS.-Provide consultancy and recommendations for senior management regarding proposed countermeasures and controls based on regular risk assessment findings and risk mitigation decisions.-Conduct research in emerging technologies in alignment with IT strategy and business needs, to enhance existing or develop new IT security services.-Provide regular planned security awareness training to educate the workforce on information and cyber security best practices for end users as an effort to raise the overall information security culture of the organization.-Review the implementation of security controls over different domains.-Managing information security projects in terms of design, planning and team collaboration.-Participate as one of the key subject matter experts for the design, implementation and operation of the information and cyber security controls. - Prepare detailed documentation on policies, system configuration and procedures.

-In charge of Information Security for operations by providing line management, leadership and strategic direction for the function and liaising closely with upper management.-Responsible for the daily operational management of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), NG Firewalls, Web Security Gateways, Email Security Gateways, IPS/IDS and NAC.-Provide the organization's information security risks under explicit management control.-Prepare detailed documentation on policies, system configuration and procedures.-Ensure all tasks performed adhere to the organization's ISO27001 Information Security Management System.-Provide security awareness training to educate the workforce on information security standards, policies, and standard methodologies.-Reviewing and performing the Configuration Change Requests (CR/RFC) using (Ticketing System) to assess risk and compliance to internal policy and standards
