Accountable for Human Resources and Administrative Areas for complete mining complex (529km) located in Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro states from mine to port. Minas-Rio Project investment: US$ 14 billion / US$ 2 billion annual revenues / Mng of 21,000 outsourced employees (implementation phase) and 2,200 direct employees. Accountable for 90 direct employees and 900 outsourced employees in HR and Administrative areas. Report to the Brazil CEO and Global HR in London – UK. Executive Committee Member, supporting all strategic decisions related to people, costs, operation, projects and others.Strategic business partner of the company's project, operational and corporate areas ensuring solutions in career development, compensation, benefits, organizational culture, climate, training, labor relations, outsourced employee management and HR strategic planning. Accountable for articulating the transition path of the HR and Administrative functions from project phase to operational set-up.Accountable for conducing the process internal climate survey in Brazil resulting in the award of best place to work in Minas Gerais in 2014 according to the Great Place to Work.Management of administrative services, including office and operational site facility management, employee transportation to operational site, canteen, employee housing, effluent treatment station and others, leading cost reduction initiatives.

Responsible for 75 employees and 5 direct managers including: payroll, labor and union relations management / development and compensation management and 3 HR business partner teams (project team, corporate office and pre-operational).Reporting to Anglo American Group offices in London and South Africa for process alignment and KPI reporting.SAP implementation in payroll modules and HR management. Shared services integration.Workforce planning and ramp-up of the operational phase of the mine, infrastructure management and logistics in remote locations. Partnership with SENAI to prepare qualified labor.
