Oversee local transportation planning to ensure best results are obtained. Manage the warehouse contract so that financial targets set by management are met. Monitor financial performance regularly by reporting against budget in line with business requirements. Recruit employees to meet the required levels of performance and business needs. Ensure the warehouse environment is one that promotes job satisfaction, motivates staff and develops employees through ensuring the warehouse team is clearly focused on achieving operational objectives. Manage relationships with key personnel in suppliers, transport companies and other service providers.
