Changed staff makeup, hired and developed 4 new engineers while delivering on commitments for equipment.Key contributor transferring the first Sonicare production line to Philips facility in Zhuhai, China.

Mechanical, Controls Engineering and Project ManagementDeveloped Elite Head tuning cell - a fully automated system to mechanically tune all Sonicare Elite toothbrush heads to perform correctly (amplitude and frequency). Involved SCARA Robots, Servos, Machine Vision, Nd-YAG Laser, pneumatics, and control hardware. Significant use of statistical tools, root cause analysis (traditional and Shainin tools).Led overall development of Sonicare IntelliClean head assembly line, while independently developing two manufacturing cells.Researched and selected critical assembly/fabrication technologies working closely with product development group to ensure manufacturability.Managed System Integrators for duplication of custom equipment. Utilized full suite of PM tools to deliver successfully measured on cost, schedule, and quality.Early adapter and champion in tools for process development, SPC, DOE, GR&R, capability studies, etc.
