Building an Insuretech e-commerce platform for the AA using AWS and Azure Serverless technology to unite disparate AA businesses (Breakdown, Insurance, Driving School, Car Finance, Service Maintenance and Repair, Car Listings) with a common IAM and Customer Master Data model for targeted data driven cross sell and up-sell between business unitsI built and lead the following team of around 120 people: Architecture, IOS,Android, Angular, Java Spring Boot, AWS and Azure serverless DevOps, Project Managers, Scrum Masters, L2 Support, QA and test automation.

Tantalum is a full stack Telematics Service, Eco System Integrator and Payments Platform Provider delivering Connected Car solutions to brands such as TomTom,TNT, Samsung and automotive manufacturersI was recruited to head up and build the product and technology teams to develop and deliver a new horizontally scalable global telematics, big data analytics and payments platforms .Responsibility for: product management, IOS and Android App team, Java backend team, devops team, embedded device team, data science team, IT and customer support teams.Built Java Cloud, IoT, data and payments platform using Spark, Marathon/Mesos, Cassandra, Kafka in Amazon AWS from scratch.Helped define Channel strategy and GTM models.

Founded parental Internet and social media monitoring company. Built proof of concept, built business case, raised Angel funding and then built a team Built a prototype product and deployed to a user trial to test.

Recruited to bring structure, process and a path to profitability to an early phase start-up that had achieved industry success in the Social Mobile segment, that it defined, with its ‘Skype Phone’ and ‘Facebook Phone’ products.Owned: Android Software Engineering, IT, P&L, Business Planning,Customer Support and Supply Chain teams.
