In this diverse role, I have taken care of Automation Division planning and controls and country-wide SAP PS operations to ensure projects are on track and delivered as per contract with high quality and profitability. Project sales invoices, monthly profit and loss reports, result analysis, project closing, and creating a dashboard for senior management reviews in SAP. Additionally, I was performing project management for a few of the automation projects. Project contract values range from $0.5-10M. Though primarily focused on automation division project controls but also involved in some cases where technical reviews of engineering deliverables, design freeze with clients, driving panel designs and vendor management, and ensuring procurement orders are processed and delivered on-site timely. Project Portfolio: - Automation Department lead: Led overall 20+ project cost & control activities for the overall department from July 2008 to Dec 2011. I was assigned project management, procurement, and technical roles for the ABB 800XA DCS System. - Design of SCADA and drive control panels, network architecture, wiring drawings, IO list preparation, server configuration, application development, and preparation of engineering drawings.- Design finalization and approval from client and equipment ordering to ABB factories.- Taking care of project costing and preparation of project execution plans and procedures.- Panel installation, coordination, and supervision of SAT, Installation, testing, commissioning, and project closing at the site.- Project management, procurement, coordination, and supporting progress meetings with the internal team and client.Sales & Proposal Engineer (Grad Program 2006-07)- Preparation of proposals for ABB Motors, Drives, PLC & DCS, and instrumentation products.- Customer visits, invoicing and sales cash flow monitoring, and follow-up with clients. - Internal meetings with the sales head also arranged seminars and customer presentations.
