Roles and Responsibilities:In charge of designing and Integration of mechanical parts and equipments that installed into vehicles and shelters, the position also included:- • To design whole or part of the hardware kit that has to be integrated within a vehicle, Tank or a shelter using the applicable norms (Military Standards). • Generate a complete set of shop and assembly drawings- supported by verification documents-for the parts being designed.Key Accomplishments:• Design various types of Brackets and Mountings for the equipments that had to be installed in different UAE Military Vehicles and Tanks according to Mil-Standards, ergonomic studies and vehicle profiles-using Pro-Engineer and Mechanica software.• Technically support the construction of mock-ups and prototypes for the first of type vehicles. • Design and Supervised the fabrication of Power Isolation Box (PIB)-That had to be installed in all the project vehicles and shelters according to Mil-Standards, ergonomic studies and vehicles profile.• Coordinate between EMERAJE and General Dynamic UK, while performing the vehicles profiles which Induced Environment (shock and vibration), Thermal and EMC profiling, that was necessary to select proper component and equipment. • Perform all the numerical analysis and manual calculations during concept design phase.• Issue finite elements analysis reports (FEA), vibrations and shock profiles and ergonomic studies-Using Pro EngineerWF4 software. • Coordinate with main sub-contractor (General Dynamics UK) in all the mutual issues.• Lead a team of mechanical and electrical technicians to produce and install the initial prototypes. • Work closely with the other departments involved in industrialization (supply chain, logistic, production, quality...) in order to deliver an optimized design. • Technically manage the suppliers involved in the hardware integration.

Mechanical Design Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:• Responsible for designing armors for a wide variety of luxury vehicles, SUV’s and commercial heavy duty chassis.• Designing special purpose armored vehicles like cash-in- transit, prisoner and troop transport.• Study customer needs and requirements and recommend the appropriate armors type and thickness for optimum protection against bullets, mines and grenades.• Advanced in Catia V5 and Solidworks Software for producing fabrication and assembly drawings along with material take off and welding procedures for each vehicle.• Prepare proposal drawings and cost estimation to support sales department.• Involved in developing and implementing new light weight armor techniques (Composite materials and Ceramics) and liaising with the suppliers.• Supervise the production of mock-ups and prototypes for the new designs. Key Accomplishments:• Modify the armours design for Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series (Most demanded civilian armoured vehicle) to reduce the overall fabrication time and increase the protection against mine and grenade blast scenarios.• Participated in designing TYPHOON a MRAP (mine resistance Ambush Protection) Vehicle based on KAMAZ chassis.• Participated in designing COGAR a LAV (Light armoured vehicle), based on Toyota 76.

Senior Manufacturing Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:• Determine the optimum manufacturing technique for the product.• Prepare the CNC programs for different types of Milling and Turning centers.• Select the adequate tools for each operation.• Advanced in using different types of CAM software (Pro-Engineer, Solid Works and Uni-Graphics) to program multi axis CNC machines.• Prepare the production control documents compatible with ISO and API standards• Monitor the costing for the running Products and Estimate the costing for any new products.• Give direct technical support to all the involved departments.
