While working at NorthBay Solutions which is an AWS Premier Partner focused on Database & Application migrations, data & analytics, DevOps & DataOps, application modernization and ML/Ai, I worked on the following projects.Projects : Big Data Project | Role : Big Data Engineer (Current)Achievements:- Being SME of the AWS DMS Service, I led the migration from Oracle to S3 using DMS with full load files as well as the capturing ongoing changes in CDC files in parquet file format.- Implemented parallel load and partitioning on the DMS resulting in annual cost savings and performance enhancements of full load by 4 hours.- Developed the Email Notification System in Python using AWS Lambda, Cloud Watch Logs, SNS, Step Functions.- Developed rule engine of the system, to apply custom rules in Regex and SQL functions on the migrated data before merging it into the data mart.- Performed major refactoring of the existing code of AWS Glue jobs, AWS Lambda functions written in Python and Step Function Scripts of the phase 1 to handle some improvements and performance tuning asked by the client.Projects : Data Lake Framework | Role : Big Data EngineerMajor Responsibilities:- Helped team to develop Big Data Architecture of the framework using Lake House.- I created Source Data Mapping by creating ERD diagrams to present the flow of the data from the Source followed by Bronze-Ingestion Layer, Silver-Curation Layer and Gold-Aggregation Layer.- Created and managed Technical Documents of the project on Confluence.- Created the Configuration files for the initial table ingestion job.
